Practical checks you can do without networking knowledge
To confirm things are working, you can perform simple, non-technical checks:
- Confirm the VPN status in the app shows an active connection
- Try a normal website visit while the VPN is on and observe that your connection behavior changes as expected
- If performance drops, you can try reconnecting or using a different basic option offered by the app
If you run into issues, focus on the app’s connection status, error messages, and available troubleshooting options. Those are usually designed for users who don’t want to manage networking details manually.
