Differences and limits you should account for

A few boundary conditions matter for correct expectations:

  • Account security is separate from transport security. Even with a VPN, strong authentication and correct sharing permissions in your Google Slides environment still matter.
  • VPN coverage depends on your device and settings. If a particular connection path is not routed through the VPN (for example, certain apps or destinations), that traffic may not get the same tunnel protection.
